From Galli Fruit Co. to Scatena Galli and eventually, in 1947 Galli Produce Company, the Galli name has been associated with quality produce for decades. Angelo Galli, who has earned a reputation for providing top notch produce to select hotels and restaurants as the Produce Manager of a San Mateo market, took the leap and founded Galli Produce Company in 1947 alongside his son-in-law, Manuel Casagrande. With their unwavering commitment to quality, the business flourished, attracting more partners, including Jerry Pieracci. In 1987, the acquisition of B&C Produce expanded their reach even further.
In 1990, Galli Produce consolidated its operations into a modern, centrally located facility in San Jose, which further enhanced their efficiency and capabilities. The current owners, who have been with the company since 1969, bring a wealth of experience to the table, with over 150 years of combined knowledge in the produce industry.
